Holiday cards

I still can't believe we are getting close to the holidays.  Definitely a little excitement came over me when I saw this in today's email from Sally.  I always seem to wait until the last minute for my holiday cards, but this year I can feel it's going to be different.  Holiday stickers also on my list!  The sale on invitations is fantastic, especially since I'm planning a special "holiday shopping" party with some girls in my wine club.  Ornament swap, cookie exchange, or a neighborhood cocktail holiday party....must always have the perfect invitation.   I can't wait to start getting the holiday cards in the mail.  Always puts a smile on my face.

Love of Leather!

Ok girls, I know y'all love a nice classic leather gift as much as I do, and I therefore wanted to share some beautiful new pieces at The Perfect Pair.  These gorgeous new items that can be personalized, and in some great colors. 

Sally has this jewelry case in the Blue Curacao, and I must admit it is such a fantastic color.  Micro-suede lining and well structured makes this not only perfect for your dresser at home, but as well with traveling.   Plenty of space for your earrings, bracelets, rings and other special pieces.  And don't forget to personalize for that extra touch.   I just bought the leather wristlet zipper wallet for my sister-in-law for Christmas. 

I did the pink and of course personalized with her initials.  It just arrived about two weeks ago, and I was so pleased.  What I love most about this item, is that you can carry your phone.  I've had so many wristlets that don't have enough room for the phone.  I must admit, I'm one of those girls who can't leave home without it.  My sister-in-law has two small kids, so I know having her phone with her is just as important.  Therefore even when switching from your large purse to this beauty for a night out with the girls, the phone is covered!  It has a separate compartment for coins, three slots for credit cards and additional space for cash.  Very chic! 

Now we can't forget the men in our lives, no matter how much they drive us crazy!  :)  My husband has the trinket and coin tray, and it stays constantly on his dresser. 

He's very organized and likes to have his watch, loose change and any other small item all in one place.  I'm all for being organized!  It is the perfect "catch all" leather accessory!  And if your hubby is the traveler, just unsnap and fold flat in a suitcase or briefcase.  I say this, because my husband takes his when he travels and when we visit family.  It's so simple to pack, so why not still feel organized when on the road?   And speaking of travel, who couldn't use one of these? 

Personalized leather passport holder.  I love that it has storage slots for additional items.  When traveling, this definitely is one item that can keep you beautifully organized.  I hope Sally has packed her holder, because she's heading to Paris tomorrow.  I know, get in line behind this jealous girl.

Just in case you didn't know...

They have arrived!  Pumpkin Pretzels.  Ladies, these are so popular, and you'll certainly know why when you take your first bite. They have been here for awhile, so my apologies for getting this posted so late.  Please forgive me.   Sally has stocked us up nicely, but I still think you should hurry over.  Who knows how long these will last. 

Pillows & Cardigans

This is one post I am super excited about.  Thanks to Sally, we can now buy these gorgeous pillows!

I know, right....so perfect! Monogrammed pillows with many colors and prints.  The one thing I love the most about this new product, is that the monogram is such a generous size.  Usually on pillows the monogram is small and just gets lost in the size of the pillow, but these really stand out and make a statement.  They are all 16x16. A gorgeous statement!

I have a bench that I'm going to refurnish and paint black, and this pillow has just found a new home.  The yellow with grey monogram will look phenomenal against the black.  I'm so excited. 

Perfect gifts for a bridal shower, wedding gift, housewarming, and even a baby's room.  I'm in love!  And along with these gorgeous pillows, Sally is now carrying these monogrammed cardigans. 

So polished and preppy!  Grab my favorite jeans, boots and this cardigan....perfect Fall outfit.  So many new items arriving at The Perfect Pair.  I know I have to buy for others around the holidays, but can't I just shop for me?  :)  Although I do believe these cardigans are going to be the best gift under the tree for two sisters-in-law.   Time to shop!

One item down...

Just a few.....ok, more like a ton of Christmas gifts to get. I know we are all getting excited for Halloween, Midnight Madness & the Macbeth Collection trunk show on October 21st....I know you girls have your calendars marked, but I am excited to have one Christmas gift ordered.  If you haven't seen these beauties, you are missing out!

The color selections and designs are unbelievable.  If you can think it, Sally can order it.  I decided on Carolina blue (UNC!) with a monogram for my Mother-in-law.  She's going to LOVE these.  She saw mine over the summer and immediately added these to her must haves.  But seriously, who wouldn't?  Comfortable and adorable....the perfect shoe!  And while we are on shoes and getting closer to those colder days, you must stop in and see the personalized clogs. 

These beauties were under my tree last year.  That's right, Santa hooked me up!

Happy Monday! Hope y'all had a great weekend.  I love how the temps are getting cooler and it's starting to feel more like Fall.  Definitely my favorite time of year, and also meaning that Halloween is right around the corner.  I need some help with my costume, but we'll get to that later.  In the meantime, have you stopped in to see what fun festive Halloween goodies Sally has?

You need these.  Chocolate covered Oreos = HEAVEN! I love the idea of getting a few of these and filling with your favorite Halloween bucket for your kids, their friends, or even their teacher. Or just send them all my way. :) Sally was also putting these together for wedding favors for one of her brides.  I love how creative you can get with a cookie....a delish cookie!

Mark your calendars!

Get your pens out and be certain to mark your calendars for the 2011 Midnight Madness!  I can hardly wait.  Late night shopping with the girls, nothing better.  Midnight Madness is October 21st, and Sally will also be having a Mid-day Madness sale.  That's right girls, all day shopping.  This is my favorite time to load up on Christmas gifts.  To make it even sweeter, there will be a Macbeth Collection trunk show from 12-5 and 8-12 on October 21st.  You remember these fun and stylish organizers we mentioned in a previous post?

Grab dinner with the girls, a few cocktails and then head over and see us for a fun night of shopping.  Leave the kids and hubs at home!  Stop in, we'd love to see you!

Pickles!

That's right girls, Pickles at The Perfect Pair!  No, you can't get them personalized, but oh my goodness....you can definitely enjoy some delish pickles.  Seriously, we aren't kidding. 

Wickedly delicious pickles.  Need I say more?  Sally saw these at the Fancy Food Show in July, and could not stop thinking of them.  Using a 70 year old recipe,  it's an amazing blend of dill, garlic and just enough sweetness to make these the best pickles.  If you don't believe me, stop in to our sample bar and find out for yourself.  It's fun things like this that I love to put together in a basket with other food items, which turn into a perfect gift for a teacher, neighbor or co-worker.  Or even better, it goes beautifully on that perfect Saturday sandwich. 

School Memories

I know there are many of you out there with little ones just starting school for the first time, which is definitely a memory you want to cherish.  That photo of stepping on the bus for the first time, meeting their teacher, forming friendships, and of course all the sweet homemade projects they bring home.  We have the perfect grade level book to help you hold these memories.

Good morning, ladies! Hope y'all are having a wonderful start to your weekend.  I'm in North Carolina visiting some family, and Sally is in Illinois for her stepson's graduation from Navy Boot Camp.  We are so proud of him, and wish him the best as he begins his military career.

Although we are both traveling, we certainly wanted to keep you updated as always, on new items arriving to the store.  Not sure about y'all, but I am definitely one that likes things organized, tidy, and kept in its place.  And nothing works better than these CUTE trays, buckets, bins, caddies and so much more.  Once you see this collection, you will be in LOVE!  Sally just got in these gorgeous clipboards, which I know is a must for my office. And even more exciting, Sally is now making the vinyl letters in the store for personalizing these items.  Such a quick and cute gift. 

How adorable is this?  I received one for a bridal shower gift, and use mine all the time for parties out on the deck.  But I know some people who use this for daily kitchen utensils, make-up brushes in the bathroom, or office organizers.  The ideas are endless, and don't forget you can get it monogrammed. Game Time!

Hey girls, it's Tricia! Let's talk college and football.  Are the guys in your life ecstatic about football starting?  I still can't believe it's time for tailgating, Saturday college games, grilling out, and cheering on your favorite team. Love this time of year!  Now before you start planning your house parties for game day, or heading out to the stadium for a morning of tailgating, stop over for some much needed college supplies.  

I know a cold beer is on top of your guy's list of items to pack, so what better gift than a Tervis Tumbler for his cold beverage?  Get them personalized with your school name, logo or family name.
